Carrier FAQ

Know where POLR’s support begins—and where your authority remains.

Does POLR receive my freight payments?

No. Freight payments are paid directly by the broker, shipper, or factoring company to the carrier. POLR does not collect or distribute carrier freight revenue.

Does POLR guarantee loads or rates?

No. Load availability and rates depend on market conditions, equipment, location, authority history, operating lanes, timing, broker requirements, and other factors.

Do I have to accept every load?

No. The carrier retains the authority to accept or reject load opportunities.

Will I work with one dispatcher?

POLR intends to assign carriers to a specific dispatcher whenever operationally practical. Reassignment may occur when requested or when availability, capacity, performance, or compatibility requires it.

Is POLR responsible for carrier compliance?

No. Compliance reminders may be provided as a courtesy, but the carrier and driver remain responsible for all operating authority, insurance, licensing, safety, tax, legal, and regulatory obligations.

Can new authorities apply?

Yes. New authorities may apply, although available loads, broker approval, rates, and service suitability can vary.
